Kids think magic is cool and want to have fun. I will do a whole bunch of the coolest magic tricks I know( at least 30), use music, make them laugh the whole time and let them help out a lot. That takes about 45 mins. Then I would make 5 or 6 live bunnies appear one at a time, put them in hats and let the kids carry them around. At the same time as this I would make them balloons. Boys like swords, holsters shields & helmets so they can go around & try to kill each other. If you're ok with that of course. Girls like puppies, hearts, flowers, hats & bunnies. Swords too.

1) Provide amazement while creating delight and wonder in a fun and positive manner.
2) Make your party day stress-free & as easy as possible.
3) Make your child look like the star and to make you look like the hero!
40 MINUTES is the amount of time for the fun and excitement the children will have as they laugh, clap, and gasp in amazement. That is also the amount of time you'll have to take a breather and relax as you take in the memories.
My goal is to help simplify your party planning needs. It really is about easing your efforts, allowing your guests to have a great time, and making your child look like the star (and you the hero).
My STANDARD SHOW PACKAGE is a no fuss, no bells or whistles sort of package [very basic] . This show was developed out of my desire to help single parents and/or for those who want to provide something fun and memorable for their child. While this package is just a magic show don't let the word standard fool you. Just because this package was designed for those who may be on a tight budget, it is anything but basic or standard. I'm going to make your child look and feel important and keep all the kids enthralled with my fun tricks & antics.
My DELUXE SHOW PACKAGE is the package that most parents go for because it offers so much bang for your buck and also simplifies your planning efforts even more. The special child is not only the star of the show, but I personalize my props with your child's name so that it makes them look and feel even more important as they help me throughout the show. The children also have fun rocking out to the fun music and a sound system (as needed) that is included in this package too. To make your job easier, my Deluxe Package also includes up to 10 Goody Bags for those in attendance. I will also be presenting the special child with their very own Magic Set (up to $15 in value) as a keepsake from their big day as well.

Here is a list of some of my most frequently asked questions regarding my party shows:
Q: How much space do you need?
A: Not much at all. An average living room is just fine. I need about a 5 feet by 5 feet area to perform in. Other than that, an area right in front of me for the children to sit and enjoy the show is all that is needed.
Q: How many children can I invite?
A: There is no limit. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. If needed, my self-contained, battery operated sound system is used so that everyone can hear.
Q: Is your show clean and age appropriate?
A: Absolutely! I have worked with a broad range of ages over the years. My show will be specifically geared towards your child's age group (and the adults will enjoy it too). I specialize in entertaining with 100% clean family-friendly --- fun magic.
Q: How far do you travel to do shows?
A: For my party shows, I typically stay within a very small geographical radius of about 25 miles of Harrisburg - Hershey, PA. I will go outside of this service area. However, because my party package prices are so low already I must charge additional travel fees for anything outside of the area.
Q: How far in advance should I schedule you for a party?
A: I stay very busy, so the sooner the better. I even schedule up to one year in advance. I will tell you that over the years I have had events cancel or postpone their booking though because they forget holidays or important dates that creep up on us every year. So, just be sure to check your calendar first.
Q: What is the best age range for your kids party shows?
A: The best age for a child to enjoy (and understand) a magic show is 5 years old and higher. 5 through 12 years old is the best age range for my kids magic show. If you are having a 3 or 4 year old party and you are looking for entertainment ideas I would suggest one thing. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Save it until they are 5 because 5 year olds respond to party entertainment so much more. Kids under this age just don't get it.
Q: Indoor or Outdoor?
A: Inside is better but outside is OK. Just remember I need shade too. If it's too hot for the kids, it's too hot for me. Wind is no one's friend at a party either. With my show it is always safer to have it inside plus there will be much less distractions.
Q: When's a good time to have you begin your show?
A: A good general rule of thumb is to have my show begin about a half hour after the party starts. There are ALWAYS latecomers. This prevents distractions from those late arriving guests.
Q: My child is shy. Will they be overwhelmed?
A: Not at all. We all have strengths and weaknesses and one of my strengths is my ability to relate to and to connect with children. I am very good at reading children and tread lightly. I'm a parent and I empathize with your concerns. Of course it is your child that is going to be on display in front of family and friends. They are the ones with something to lose. What I will tell you is prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Of the hundreds and hundreds of supposedly shy children, only about 2 or 3 don't have a fantastic time up on stage with me. Upon leaving the stage, they are typically doing so --- with a smile.
Q: What if there is more than one birthday child?
A: Easy, then it's double the fun. If this is the case then I have all of the birthday children be the stars of the show. Everything else is the same except we have a few more lucky participants.
Q: Can we have you entertain the children in one area while all of the adults hang out in another area?
A: Definitely NOT. Due to liability issues, I require that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (besides me). I simply can't be held responsible for supervising them. This is also to protect you, the children and myself.
Q: Can we serve food, snacks, and beverages during your show?
A: It's your party, you can do what you like, BUT it's so much better if you don't. It's a HUGE distraction for the children. Not only eating the snack, but then the serving of it, and the cleaning up that takes place. The kids have a much better experience if you don’t. At this age, they need the least amount of distractions as possible. Also because it's a show based on audience interaction and participation... I need their hands to be free... besides, it could turn messy.
Q: Can we have babies, toddlers, and pets at the party?
A: Since it's your party, you may do whatever you'd like. However, I do recommend NOT having children under the age of 3 present, only because they often are a distraction to the children and adults who are trying to enjoy the magic show. Same thing goes with your pets. Please keep your pets in a separate area.
Q: I have heard about children entertainers being sex offenders. If I hire you, what assurance do I have that my child and the children at the party are safe?
A: First, understand that at no time will I ever allow a child to be alone with me. Adult supervision is not an option – it is REQUIRED. This is just good judgment and protocol regardless of what aspect you do in working with children in a public or private setting. I realize that I am most likely coming into your home and appreciate the trust that you’ll place in me. In addition, I would be happy to provide you with an up to date copy of my PA Child Abuse Clearance. I would expect any good parent to do some leg work in this area, regardless of who they hire or where they have their party. Let’s promote a safe environment for our children.
Q: Do you have any animals in the show?
A: No bunnies or birds here, but the children really seem to enjoy it when I produce “Petey, The Nearly Famous Fishâ€. Petey is the stage name of my daughter’s goldfish. I recruited Petey (Bubbles) because he was destined for show business after I got him as a gift for my daughter, while at a show in Washington DC. Another magician made him appear in a glass of water and that has been Petey’s job ever since. The kids love him!
Q: Do you work on holidays?
A: Yes I do. Just keep in mind though that my rate is higher for holidays and holiday weekends. Like you, I also like to spend time with my kids as well.
Q: Do you need a table or any chairs for your set up?
A: No, I provide everything I need for my show. It is entirely self-contained.
Q: Do you need me to provide anything for you?
A: No, as I mentioned - everything is self-contained to make your job easier. Actually the only thing you need to provide is a group of excited children who are ready to laugh, smile, and have a great time.
