Once you find a Valleyford clown, you'll want to check their availability. It is generally a good idea to book a clown at least six weeks before your party. Try to check online reviews to gauge other peoples experiences and see if you can phone interview before putting down a deposit. Once you do find a professional clown that you feel comfortable with, the next step is to put down a deposit.

We present lively characters with humor, action, and hands-on activity for kids. Our specialities are American Civil War or Medieval Knights.
In your Civil War party, Howard and Son come as either USA or CSA characters with an enlistment tent. The elder plays a captain, the younger plays a sergeant. Kids learn history as they enlist as volunteers and are issued a wooden rifle and costume prop. Kids then learn about soldier life and play a few games.
For a Medieval theme party, Howard and Son teach history, entertain and perform staged and action sword fights. Activities include "pluck-a-knight" where they shoot soft tip arrows at knights in armor. The other, "throw a battle axe" involves kids throwing nerf-style axes at oncoming knights.
Late fall we will be adding a pony ride option to both themes for a fun Civil War Horse and Medieval Horse activity. A basic package is 1.5 hours, and we can customize your party entertainment as desired. Rates range from $75 to $300. Please contact us for an appointment to discuss how we can help make your kid's party magical!
