Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a wedding, The Crystal Conservatories is an ideal location for your next event. The indoor space is flexible and can be configured for a bridal shower for as few as 25 guests, or a wedding and reception for up to 50 guests. Parties can rent a tent for an outdoor wedding ceremony for up to 150 guests or a reception for up to 100 guests. The entire facility can also be rented for 50th anniversary parties, family reunions or graduation parties, with full access to the swimming pool.
Weddings & Events
Operationally, the venue has easy access for musicians, florists, or props. All catering is provided through the facility. Electrical capacity is not an issue and outlets are readily accessible. Plus, there is ample free parking and loading/unloading space.

The acoustically-superb “Carnegie Carnegie” Music Hall is an outstanding venue and our regional asset. Patterned after Carnegie Hall in New York, the hall has been home to memorable performances, lectures, wedding ceremonies, music recordings, and much more for well over 100 years.
This Hall is equipped with a simple light and sound system, and remains a personal favorite performance space of local, national, and international performers.
The Lincoln Gallery (2,360 sq ft)
The light-filled Lincoln Gallery overlooks the Library & Music Hall’s gracious grounds. This permanent and rare collection of 100 Abraham Lincoln photographs provides a historically poignant setting for your special event.

Pittsburgh’s oldest and largest brewery, Penn is housed in the mid nineteenth-century landmark E&O Brewery Building in the North Side’s Deutschtown neighborhood. Penn specializes in award-winning craft beers, all brewed onsite, and serves traditional “Euro-Pittsburgh†dishes including wurst, schnitzel, pierogi, and goulash – along with some contemporary favorites - in its restaurant. Penn has four unique reception spaces and can accommodate private groups of up to 130 guests for receptions, business meetings, and lunch and dinner events. Private beer tastings and brewery tours are also available upon request.
Main Bierhalle - Our main dining room is designed in the style of a real German beer hall, featuring wood paneling, long handmade, solid wood tables and benches, and a copper-topped bar. The room features space for live entertainment, as well as a direct view of the brewhouse so guests can watch the brewers at work.
The Ratskeller – A cozy space decorated with rich dark wood paneling, colorful stained- glass windows, and a direct view of our large beer tanks in the Lager Keller. The Ratskeller also features its own private bar. Seats up to 60 guests.
The Biergarten - This unique outdoor space boasts a quaint European feel, with its cobblestone courtyard, wrought iron gates, and flower boxes. The Biergarten is available for events from April through October and features its own private bar and space for live entertainment. Seats up to 85 guests, or a larger number for a stand-up reception.
The Eisenhalle - This spacious room, designed in the style of an industrial loft, pays tribute to Pittsburgh’s more recent Renaissance history and features beautiful views of the city’s skyline. Structurally, it's divided into three independent concert spaces: indoor music hall, indoor club and outdoor amphitheater.
The Entertainment
The indoor season is booked throughout the year with the outdoor season scheduled from May to September. Stage AE averages over 110 events every year and offers a variety of music from some of the biggest names in rock, folk, blues, jazz, metal, classical, country, classic rock, alternative rock and everything in between.
