We customize the party for the birthday girl and offer theme options such as tea party, princess, karaoke, and wrestling divas just to name a few. Every birthday girl has a theme and we do our best to incorporate it into her party.
Our birthday parties outshine our competition. They may have done it first, but we do it better. All Gurlie Locks birthday parties include a full hair do, light make up and nail polish. Each party guest receives a Gurlie Locks goody bag. The birthday girl will take a group photo of her with her besties and we present her with an official Gurlie Locks Birthday Medallion. The girls never want to leave so no one is rushed out the door.
Parties for older girls include lessons on applying makeup, skin, hair and nail care.
Our party package is very affordable. We serve up to 12 girls for $400. Each additional girl is $15. The price includes invites/envelopes, hair do, nail polish and nail art, goody bags, white paper products and utensils, light snacks and refreshments. You would be responsible for any cake or food that you would like to serve.

Built in 1690 and now a National Historic Landmark, Clear Comfort sits on magnificent park-like grounds and overlooks New York Harbor and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.
One of New York City’s oldest homes, Clear Comfort was expanded by Ms. Austen’s grandfather after he purchased it in 1844. Dormered windows, gingerbread wood trim and a vine-covered “piazza†recall a simpler, more elegant time on Staten Island. Today the house and grounds evoke the home as Ms. Austen knew it and a way of life that has passed into history.
Ms. Austen enjoyed the many luxuries of her time and lived what she called a “Larky Life†with numerous friends. Passionate about photography, she took over 7,000 pictures with an emerging New York City as a favorite backdrop.
“We are constantly trying to re-create the many festive occasions Alice and her friends enjoyed at Clear Comfort,†said Executive Director Dr. G.
