Parks House is nestled on Embassy Row adjacent to the Naval Observatory, the National Cathedral, Rock Creek Park and the lively, lovely streets of Georgetown proper. Parks House is in this treasured neighborhood amidst the lovely embassies that line Massachusetts Avenue, NW. This neighborhood boasts lush gardens and dynamic architectural facades accentuating the arts and a celebration of culture experiences.
Parks House has an interesting history. The house was commissioned to be built in 1927 by the famous Washington DC Brew master, Christian Heurich, founder of the Olde Heurich Brewing Company. Christian Heurich lived in the famous “Castle†on New Hampshire Avenue and offered Parks House to his son and daughter-in-law as a wedding gift. Later in the century after the family moved on, the home was rented to the Belgian Embassy. Then, the home was purchased by the Parks family, who has enjoyed ownership for over fifty years and including three generations.
The home has been lovingly restored and in some aspects – reinvented. This venue may be contracted for rentals for small and intimate gathering, as well as much larger social events with over 7,000 square feet of living space available for event space set on more that an acre of prime city land to enjoy.

Parks House on Embassy Row offers the invaluable appeal of old world charm and elegant setting complete with all of the preferred contemporary conveniences of distinction, comfort, location, and the luxury of valet parking.
