Here are a few more ideas for a PAW Patrol birthday party that your guests will dig.
Doggie Decorations
Make your PAW Patrol party unforgettable with PAW Patrol birthday party supplies. Decorate your venue with red, blue, and yellow banners, streamers, and balloons. Create DIY party hats and accessories featuring Chase’s police hat, Marshall’s fire hat, Rubble’s construction hat, and Skye’s aviator goggles. Attach felt dog ears to the hats and goggles to get your guests excited about the theme!
Puppy Grub
Serve your guests snacks and chips in red, blue, and yellow dog bowls. A hot dog bar complete with a variety of toppings or a “pupperoni” pizza will have your guests begging for more. Don’t forget to send your guests home with their very own “doggy bag,” complete with puppy chow and chocolate “puppy kisses.”
For dessert, treat your guests to shortbread cookies shaped as dog bones. Here’s an easy shortbread cookie recipe that we love:
For dessert, treat your guests to shortbread cookies shaped as dog bones. Here’s an easy shortbread cookie recipe that we love:
Ingredients
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions
Heat oven to 350º F. Beat softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Stir in the flour. Add a little bit more butter if dough is too crumbly. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface. Using bone-shaped cookie cutters, cut into shapes. Place 1/2 inch apart on a cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.
Tail-wagging Activities
PAW Patrol activities and games will have your guests barking in excitement. Set up a fun game that’s a twist on pin the tail on the donkey. Blow up a picture of Chase and pin it to your wall. Create a police badge with double-sided tape on the back, blindfold your guests, and have them “pin the badge” onto Chase!
Another interactive idea is to get your guests’ paws moving with a variation on musical chairs. Ahead of time, set up a circle of laminated paw prints on the ground with one less than the number of guests. Play the "Who Let the Dogs Out" song and get going! Gather all of your guests in a circle behind the paw prints and have them begin walking around the circle once the music starts. When it stops, guests will scramble to stand on a paw print. The one left without a paw print standing is out! Remove a paw print every time someone is out, until you’re left with a winner.
