Since the kids won’t be around, you can go all out with grown up Halloween party ideas. Here are some ideas to help you plan your adult-only Halloween party!

  • Invitations: Check out Punchbowl’s Halloween invitations. On the invitation, include details such as the name of the event, date, time and location of the party. Encourage guests to wear Halloween costumes for grown-ups. Clue the guests in on the spooky theme to help them plan their costumes.
  • Decorations: Keep the lights low and opt for black candles, strobe lights and black lights. Stage an entrance to the party with candles along a pathway. Decorate with tombstones and Spanish moss to scare guests before they even step foot into the party. Create cobwebs with cotton and scatter spiders throughout the party.
  • Menu: Stir up a witch’s brew for the party. Serve the punch in a large, smoky cauldron. Accent the brew with plastic eyeballs and fingers. For food, serve gruesome-looking, yet yummy Halloween treats. Decorate pigs in a blanket with ketchup to create severed fingers. Serve stuffed mushrooms and make them look like eyeballs. Hire a local entertainer to dress up as a spooky butler and pass the treats on a silver platter throughout the evening.
  • Entertainment: Hire a pianist or other live musician to play creepy music at the Halloween party for grown-ups. Hire professional dancers in creepy Halloween costumes for additional entertainment.

Let this year’s Halloween for grown-ups get your creative juices flowing. Go over the top and give your friends a real fright!
